The club's competitions are open to paid up members of the club.

4 Major competitions (2 open subject and 2 themed), are held each season.  Each Major competition has categories for Prints (colour and mono) and Projected digital images.  

In addition the Gordon Roberts competition is for Monochrome prints and the Bernard Woolford competition is for a panel of 3 to 6 prints.

The "Images of the year" competition is for images taken since the 1st January in the previous year.

The club also participates in inter club competitions and holds various informal photographic challenges from time to time.
