These are open to paid up members of the club. Major coemptions (2 open subject and 2 themed) are held each season, and points from these count towards the club championship. Each Major competition has categories for Monochrome print Colour print and Projected digital images.

In addition the Gordon Roberts competition is for Monochrome prints and the Bernard Woolford competition is for a panel of 3 to 6 prints.

The images of the year competition is for images taken since the 1st January in the previous year.( So judged in 2024 but taken in 2023)
